  a little to late, and amazing re: annulments.

  i apologize to all of you who responded to my 'craving for attention' post for not responding on time.

  i was to sick and it's kind of late now to give all the responses.. you certainly gave me the courage to even post again and i already know it's ok if i don't get responses, i'm healed, (you help).. i started to compose a line to each of you, but just know that i love you and i appreciate what you did to me: get confident on the forum and post and practice.. to amazing, willy_think responded to your questions about the annulments and she did a good job.

  Uffff, thanks for your input.... To me, there is more than enouhg evidence in this forum to consider the WT a false prophet. MavMan spend hours in this forum... considering that he reads Amazing serial alone, that is enough for him to start thinking... but for some reason, he is choosing to go against the float. Besides, he goes and post his oppinion on the board's feed back, knowing that other people that are looking for answers in this forum will read it..."NI PICA, NI PRESTA EL HACHA"... meaning he stumbles whoever wants fo find the truth about the WT and he doesn't get it either. Ernesto, I'm not forcing you to believe what I believe in order for me to believe you are sincere; I'm puzzled and ask myself what is the main reason you keep coming back to a board that is seriuos and busy trying to help people who really wants it and needs it? Why don't you get busy and define yourself at least, and go one way or the other. Either you are or you are not. You choosed to correspond with me, you open the door when weeks ago, you wrote to my personal e-mail; now.... can you get get spankings? Yadira

  How will Gen-Xers contribute to the fall of WTBS?

  is it because we're a cynical lot?.

  maybe because we were the first generation of latch-key kids who learned how to raise ourselves?.

  what is it that makes it so 'hard to lie to a gen xer?

  I thought you were a mother! (female). Like if only women can have daughters, right? Fathers too! LOL

  Thanks for responding; your phrase: "Remain as close as you can to your daughter, support her, but don't attach her" it's a confirmation of what I have been thinking all along, but I fail and stumble once in a while.

  Also, I won't hide my believes to her either, something I feel I owe to do, like I'm afraid.

  You guys, I pray in tongues! don't exclude me for doing it. I didn't ask for it. It came suddenly one night 25 years ago and I got scare so bad that I never practice it for the rest of many years until I got comfortable knowing it was a gift from God and who am I to disregard it? I respect what the Catholic Church has been trying to do shepherding the Charismatic Movement and they have make big progress and avoid abuses.. yes! there are risks of imitation from Satan, but when I pray in tongues there a peaceful sense and there is nothing about it extraterrestrial; it is natural and nothing on the outside changes... you could be driving, attending a conference and so forth... since I am rather private when it comes to worship, I prefer to use it in private, maybe some day I will change.

  My daughter (28) is trying hard to feet into the shoes of the 'good old timers Jehovah's pioneer Gen-Xers'. She tries so hard! she needs to feed this organization and she is victimized by them. She looks tire all the time, out of energy, and longing for a normal life, which she won't find in this cult. She is a pioner working part time, so she could give more time to the org. What a waste of talent, (she graduated from College (Sociology). She broke up with her fiance, a wonderlful man for not joining the org. What a waste, how shameful. Now she is dividing the family by shunnig her own sister, ("bluesapphire" on this forum).

  I haven't been a JW, but I wonder how it is for you been an exJW mother of a 27 year old daughter. How did you manage the situation? I have been struggling for several years until I joined this forum and find out that I have make many mistakes with her trying to get her out. Not turning back. I'm just been a mom now. But it hurts to see that the Org. is robbing her life, kids, husband. Not hope, now. I feel overwhelmed and I'm always asking for answers. Like if there is an special recipe to get her out. Any suggestions?

  The worse, is that now that there are less people willing to be committed like the "old time flames", the KH grabs one like her so she can be the inspiration to the other girls. That's more pressure on her. She is an scrupulous girl, even before she entered this group; now she in the extremes. She does not look happy, but forced herself to look happy...

  Recently, she and other friends in her KH got involved in a event to honor the seniors in her hall; well she brought me their pictures and they all looked depressed, dead. Fake smiles, not hope, they have to stay, they are to old to fight and they can't bare to loose their kids and grand kids. Even if they feel they are in error, they need to play and sing the song, how sad!

  christianity today magazine, with a large circulation in north america deals with many issues, including reporting on legal events facing various christian based religions.. in the march 5, 2001 issue the reporter discusses this topic, quoting bill bowen.

  in the same issue of the magazine, they also discussed the watchtower society reorganization that took place in october 2000. it is not too long.

  Oh well, Ernesto, one thing puzzles me 'big time' with your character or characterless: the fact that you still want to be reinstalled! I mean, after been in this forum for so long, it hasn't ring a bell to you that the WT is a false prophet? And that is why I have so many doubts still about you sincerity. Proves us wrong,
